Title: Custom ambassador saber
Post by: kagemusha shin on November 25, 2013, 12:20:15 AM
It is a custom guardian hilt with scorpion silver emitter led module holder and instead of using a guardian retention screw I used the cover tech wheel screw to hold it properly and is all is needed. Hilt is 19" long and is great for long sword and nodachi users also isn't too heavy to do an orbit. (http://i1338.photobucket.com/albums/o685/kagemushashin/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zpsad717fab.jpg)

Interesting so you made this from combining the MHS goodies under the Guardian and Scorpion? Cool!

You should take some pics at different angles. I kinda wanna see that emitter without the shroud. Nice work Kage!

Wow I am in love with your custom saber because I prefer to have more length but not make it a pole arm...is it ok if I used your build with mine?

please do. I love sharing my thoughts and this is why to inspire new ideas in someone else. Also the bottom of the saber adds 6" to what you have.

Holy awesome!!! Very cool man! Does it have a 40" blade to go with that long hilt? The emitter was exactly what I thought it would be, but hey it's interesting to see what's under those shrouds.

No its 36" but I plan to rectify that very soon. Lol. And I agree the shrouds are like a tease its like Christmas have to unwrap it to find the most awesome gift you'll find.

Working on a holster for my lightsaber for the back added a covertech to the emitter and the gem is the screw it worked out nicely. When I can ill post pics of the final product. By the way best to hold a saber this long close to the emitter and pommel give an inch of space from the hands. Works well with soreasu orbits and cho strikes the sai strikes an sun Djem are hard to get use to with it but doable. Weight is 2.63 pounds total length with 36" blade is 53"!!!!! It's more of a claymore saber at this point. When held properly is very controllable and light for accuracy. The saber gets a 9/10 why only 9 is because it isn't that great for one handed weilding. I can do it but so much strain to the arm I prefer no recommend 2 hands. If you like power this saber is for you. Break down of the saber- guardian body+scorpion led holder piece (just above mid section)+ scorpion speaker piece all in this order. Also the saber is very loud because it resonates a ton the pommel is 6" away from the speaker so it resonates a loud hum and clash also gives a very imperial feel to the saber or even nobleman.

Title: How to make the guardian shroud removable
Post by: kagemusha shin on November 27, 2013, 08:09:39 PM
Yes like the counselor you can make the guardian shroud removable. Warning must have a steady hand and either you or someone you know must know how to operate a dremel tool properly.

That looks awesome, I really like subtle silver accents on a black hilt.  Plus the Guardian pommel really kicks it up a notch.  Looks bright as hell too!

It is the windows gives off that effect plus fresh batteries. It's much lighter with no shroud.

How did you do the pommel? It looks like a Guardian/Scorpion w/o studs/spikes. Are they removable?

yes those pommels are a 3 piece pommel a ring (spikes) and then the choke point and the ball base. They unscrew.
