A video and text review of my new Prophecy in BH!  My new favorite saber!

Hilt: Let me start off be saying this saber is freaking AWESOME!  I own 12 US sabers now and this one is hands down my favorite!  The hilt is a nice silver and the design on it looks fantastic!  I love the basic pommel, very simple, yet fitting for the saber design.  The emitter is not removable like many sabers but is one of my favorite things about it.  I like the slanted emitter, they do tend to appeal to me in general,  but it really fits with the overall design of the Prophecy well.  The two round screws/knobs on it add a little more uniqueness to the saber and make it look like you can adjust saber setting which I like. I went with the silver AV switch because they don't have a purple AV switch yet and I wanted an illuminated one and silver seemed like a good neutral color to go with.  The covertec wheel is also placed on the right side of the AV switch and that is exactly where I like it to be. When they're placed on the left side they tend to get in the way of my lower hand.  The saber feels really comfortable in my hands.  It's light weight which I like since I am a smaller guy, and it is easy for me to wield one-handed or two-handed.  I was easily able to find a comfortable way of holding the saber.  You will notice in the video review I swing it around A LOT, that's because it is just so much fun to swing around!  It's my favorite hilt so far not only because of how it looks but also in how comfortable and easy it is to wield.  I can see why other like James Casey are so taken with it!

Blade: I knew I wanted mine in some type of violet or purplish color.  I already have a Manticore in VA and didn't want DVA for this saber so I went with BH.  I have to say that BH is a fantastic color in standard MG and goes great with the Prophecy (although I think the Prophecy is one of the hilts that can look good in any color.) I went with the standard MG blade, but got a 32" blade instead of the 36" blade since it is easier for me to wield. I'm a big fan of Bane's Heart now!

Sound: I am using the default obsidian sound fonts on it, they are my favorite ones after all.  The saber sounds great, it's loud and very clear.  The pommel has a large hole in the bottom so the saber sounds even louder than some other saber! Very pleased with the saber sound.

Overall:  Hands down my favorite US saber yet!  I give it 100/100!

Hey there thanks for saying that you were 5 foot 6 inches and that the 32 inch blade is perfect because im 12 and 5 foot 6 inches ;D and i want a raven and i didnt know what size blade to get for my size

Was gonna wait till later to say this but I'll just do it now. 

Get your info straight Prowl.  Anybody can order "Forum only" colors, not only forum members.  They just have that name because they originated on the forums or were a custom thing that was done once but never perfected even with high demand for the color.  All of the "forum" colors are inconsistent because they aren't haven't been perfected like the regular colors have.  Hence why their not listed on the website for order because some people would be up set if their saber wasn't the color they expected/wanted.

Ok my little rant is over.

Duly noted, I shall make sure I mention a correction of this oversight in my next review.

Your review was well done as always.  I've always found it good that you show both how the saber looks up close and then show it actually in your hands for a size comparison to yourself.  I also like your choice of color.  It's not one that's seen very often.

Haha, I was gonna point it out when I did a review for the Overlord that I'm getting for Christmas but I couldn't wait long enough.  Looking forward to seeing your next saber.

Also for the Dark Prophecy that your planning, you should get it in DVA.  I noticed it's one of the ones that you don't have and It looks amazing with black hilts.

Looks nice dude. The silver ac switch goes really good with the BH blade. BH looks really good on the Prophecy as well and looks amazing in a regular Mid blade.

Very nice combo!  Extremely unique, and I always love seeing more of the Prophecy hilts on here.  It really is a very well balance hilt, isn't it?  Nice and slim, and not overly long.  It's definitely my "no nonsense" combat saber.

I'm very fond of how light it is and how easy it is to use with one hand or two hands. It's definitely the one I'd want in my hands for a real saber fight.

I've already got plans for a DVA saber, I want a Dark Initiate with Dark Catalyst pommel to act as an evil twin to my Initiate with Catalyst pommel in GB.  Unfortunately, the sig limits your characters so I can't list all of them that I want. :P

I still have two sabers I need to review, my Shock LE with sound in FO and my stunt DSI in SRD. (I refuse to do one of the Monarch prize saber.)
