It's super nice. Does the shroud move around at all? I've heard that it does.

Nice sabers you have there.  I also have a Scorpion in PO, although I do keep a UE blade on mine. ;)

I will be getting a spare UE blade with my next saber so  have the option to swap it out

Yes but only a fraction but once i tighten the screws that hold the claw on this should fix this, or so i have been advised :)

Nice saber dude. Love it. Looks really good in PO. How does the Scorpion handle weight wise?

i have no comparison but it has some weight to it, however it is not unbalanced in my limited opinion, im not skilled with a saber but have not found it hard to do some basic spins but i can understand if your use to a narrower/ lighter saber it could take a little practice to get used to it,  i guess its more a two handed use saber  but not impossible to be used single handed the saber is 14.5" long from emitter to pommel and 1.5" wide at the body compared to
say  The Dominix v2 that is 1.25" wide and 11.75" long you will notice a difference thats for sure, and if your used to anything smaller you will truly see and feel what a Beast the Scorpion is

I've just been fiddling around with my Scorpion and I found that the Scorpion pommel can separate into two parts.

Intrigued, I (naturally) started fiddling around with changing things around, and ended up adding the War Glaive pommel into the Scorpion's half-pommel.

My Scorpion has a UEHG blade, and I've always found it a little cumbersome. I have to say this configuration makes it feel better balanced to me, and looks pretty cool as well.

Edit: Balance point is just around the middle and upper window, and it feels pretty good with your first three fingers at the base of the claw with your pinkie just below it. Holding it that way does cover up most of the windows though.

Dark Warglaive pommel looks AWESOME on your Scorpion, one of the best combos I've seen for this hilt!!!  As you can tell seeing your set up has pumped me up, ha!  Thanks for posting,  point!

You can also remove the studded/spiked ring from the bottom part of the pommel

I like the clean lines just using of the bottem half of the pommel end with spikes removed

Hmm, interesting. Thanks for letting us know, and for the pics.

The studded ring on my pommel is stuck in pretty tight and doesn't want to come loose. Did you have to give yours a gentle tap with a hammer, or was it fairly easy to remove?

It just came out with a little wiggle, no tools needed but still fits snug when in place

I remember when I discovered the Guardian pommel could be separated into 3 pieces*. I sliced my finger open on the aluminum thread and had to use a small hand towel to hold the thread. It was tight, but eventually I got it off. Now it takes very little effort to separate it!

*the Guardian and Scorpion have the exact same pommel with the only difference being the silver ring is spiked on one and squared on the other.
