Title: need help on wiring an AV switch
Post by: Genkaku Sho`shyk on January 30, 2014, 11:10:59 PM
its been a long time since i posted much on the forums, been really busy with work and whatnot, i got a hilt for a friend but wanted to hook up the AV switch with no illumination... so i only need the on/off wires attached, but there are 3 holes, not including the LED for the button itself.. with is marked by a small resistor already on it... if you could shoot me a post link, or if you have a video/pic that helps with a US av switch hook up... that would be awesome, im short on time myself tonight but am hoping to get it done when i get home from work later tonight....

    O
O      O            <---   where X is the switches LED... witch holes should be used for the wires from the soundbord?..   the 2 open across from one another or the one on top and one of the sides.... ?..
X                         thanks for any help in this little project, i could not find any videos or links in the forums for this specific modification

The posts on the left and right are what you will need to wire to do switch things. The top and bottom posts are for the LED inthe switch, one positive, one negative. The posts for the switch itself don't have polarity, so it doesn't matter how you wire it up, though I typically wire the negatives to my switches.
