Title: Freedon Nadd's short lightsaber ideas
Post by: Tal-Rin Onjo on May 05, 2014, 03:44:00 AM
So, I'm a big fan of KotOR and KotOR II: The Sith Lords. As such I'm thinking of making up the short light saber of Freedon Nadd some ime in th future. Has to have an orange blade, I know. Thinking of MAYBE a Dark Initiate V3 or the LE version with a 16" blade. Any thoughts on how to make it more "Sith" and/or ancient? Leather wraps? Braiding? Any ideas will be helpful.

Well let's see. As for a wrap you have limitless options. There is the katana style with a ribbon Or similar material that gives you the dimond pattern. You can do a leather wrap with a laceed tie that is very secure( I've used it my self). There is tennis racket grip tape( verry confertable and secure. If you plan to use an inate weather it be a v2 or v3 add some O-rings and then use the grip tape it would add a ribbed feel and a nice look at the same time.
There are vertually limitless choices.  The question is what kind of look do you want to end up with. So we can point you in the right direction.
