Title: Customizing Project for Dominix LE Post by: sedstiskyfaller on June 13, 2014, 12:43:07 PM Hi, all!
I have begun customizing my Dominix LE I received in the recent raffle as a third prize. I'm keeping with the black theme and making this a dark saber since I don't have any Sith sabers at the moment. All added parts are 3D-printed models that I painted, except for the Consular pommel on the end. The shroud is a personal piece, but I can PM you about the blade plug and switch cover if you are interested. Let me know what you think! If so which program did you use?
I think the 3D printing option is a great way of customizing. If so which program did you use? I think the 3D printing option is a great way of customizing. Point Thank you! Yes, I designed it myself using 123D apps from Autodesk. Ultra and the awesome team at Ultrasabers have allowed me to post about my shop I have open now on Shapeways for 3D-printed products. The link to the shop can be found in my sig and the topic here: http://www.saberforum.com/index.php?topic=20516.0 (http://www.saberforum.com/index.php?topic=20516.0) I don't have any shrouds listed as I made this and another for personal use, but there are blade plugs and other accessories available. I may start commissioning shrouds from those that are interested now that I have learned my way around the software.
