Title: Force FX signature series question Post by: Carhoooun on September 29, 2014, 10:21:36 PM I have an Obiwan (ROTS I believe) signature series 'Removable' blade lightsaber that well, isn't removable. I see people easily remove the emitter but mine seems to be glued with the worlds strongest adhesive. Yet the ones I see being showcased on Youtube seem to be a 'repaint' or different model of the same model as around the choke point the dark orange is a wooden brown and the once gold paint is not a darker bronze. Confused as to why I can't find any videos of the emitter being removed with this particular paint scheme I was wondering if any Force FX savies here know whats going on? Its my Father's blade and hes quite upset as it hinders his Halloween plans.

If at all possible, some closer pictures would be needed to examine it better.

Title: Re: Force FX signature series question Post by: Ziran Le on September 30, 2014, 03:01:28 PM Track down Master Nero Attoru here on the forums. I know that he has owned some of the FX series and has some experience with them, although I'm not sure which models. It's possible that some of the Luke ROTJ models were not intended to be "removable blade" and that you got one that doesn't come apart the same way. Perhaps the color on yours is an indicator of the year or at least the production run that it came from and someone else who has owned these can illuminate us all further.
Title: Re: Force FX signature series question Post by: Molina00 on September 30, 2014, 09:09:14 PM Is it possible the one you got is not actually the removeable blade version? I am looking at Amazon listings for Signature Series Obi Wan with a permanently attached blade and removeable blade.
The color of the removeable blade one looks like brown and copper while the attached blade is orange and gold, like yours. I think your blade is probably not removeable, at least not without dismanteling the saber. Title: Re: Force FX signature series question Post by: Zren Tobas on September 30, 2014, 11:48:10 PM If it has the newer sounds then its removable. I use rubber clamps when my pieces get stuck. Clamp on the emitter, then twist the main body the appropriate way and it should twist right away. Hope this helps and for anyone. Invest in rubber clamps like I keep saying. :P They work wonders on stuck pieces.
