Title: Separation issues (missing my saber) Post by: Lightsaberman on November 22, 2014, 06:27:11 PM Here's the story: I have owned a CG Guardian with obsidian for 2 and a half years now, but I REALLY wanted the Emerald driver. And since the Guardian is my favorite hilt design ever, I wanted the Emerald in it. But then I saw the Black Friday sale and calculated that, instead of sending my old one in, it would be cheaper to get a new Guardian and a free grab-bag (which is awesome!) but I was short on cash... So I figured since I was getting the same hilt anyway, I could just sell the Guardian I have now and get a new one with the Emerald and other features I didn't have before. And I did sell it for a fair price, but now I have to wait a few more days to order my new Guardian, and I miss my old one. A lot, I do have a Malice and a Graflex, but the Guardian was my favorite. So I have a question, does anybody know how to deal with msd (missing saber disorder)?

So you have separation anxiety loss and perhaps some guilt for letting an old friend journey on. Just think about how happy you have made it's new owner. In regards to your MSD, well you did what any decent intelligent saber caretaker would do... you replaced it with another. And you get a bonus gb for your efforts. I think that your other sabers are needing some attention as they have to be aware that you have a favorite and you can now take the opportunity to let them know that they are loved but that the family is expanding. No charge for this since I am having a coffee break. ;) ;D
