I would like to know how you went about attaching the claws? When I do mine it will be for display only and not dueling. Title: Re: Clawed Light Prophecy Post by: Kalibos on August 06, 2011, 07:16:35 PM Thanks guys, i'm glad you all like them , on the light prophecy. I put the claw on using a claw and screw off my War Glaive, and I agree, i wont duel with the claw on, I dont fancy damaging any blades or fingers.

The claw gives it a nice Sword look, like it has a hand guard. Title: Re: Clawed Light Prophecy Post by: Kalibos on September 02, 2011, 06:32:57 PM @ Deedzy The prophecy emmiter has two holes drilled in it one for a decorative thumbscew the other the blade retention bolt. I used a longer blade retention bolt and turned one of the brass thumbscrews the other way round, put the claw in place over the longer retention bolt and screwed the upside down thumbscrew on, and luckly it held and stayed on. It will endure light duelling but flies off with moderate to heavy duelling ( the prophecy thumscrews always fly off with medium duelling anyway.)

Also have a look at the at the Seraphim That had a lot of work done on the hilt. |
