Title: Custom Graflex SE Review
Post by: Darth Reaper on May 22, 2015, 05:15:11 PM
Yesterday I received my New Custom Graflex SE Light Saber from UltraSabers.  I was Initially pleased as to the weight of the Hilt.  I thought that it would have weighed much, much more than it actually does.  It felt very Balanced and Lightweight.  The next thing I noticed was the Attention to Detail the Craftsman had put into it. For example, the Black hand grips are made of a durable hard material, on other Models they are usually made of some type of Rubber Material.  The Rubber ones tend to tear or Warp with time.  I was glad to find that the grips on My Saber would last a very long time. The Moment I turned My New Saber on, I was amazed at how "Loud & Clear" the New Obsidian V4 Soundboard was.  I've had other Store Bought Sabers, and a few Custom Sabers to compare with, and none of them are able to give the same abundance of "Sound" Clarity and Quality.
I guess what I mean to say is that O-V4, made  My New Saber Sound and Feel very much like the Real thing......   I guess I got what I wished for.....:)
The Cherry on top, so to say, is that I have complete control of the Soundboard and the Emerald Driver inside....
It comes stock  with 8 different Sound selections, and one includes a "Silent" mode so that you may show off your Saber without Sound, if you so Desire.  Do that with a Store bought Toy.....
The Blade Brightness of my New Saber was also Top Notch.  I compared it to some of my Friends Sabers, and Mine was Considerably Brighter than theirs.  I did do some Dueling with my Friends to try out My New Saber and found that my Friends were Jealous as to how "Real" my Saber Looked and Felt to them.  Thank you all at UltraSabers  for Making my First Experience a Memorable one....:)
Before I actually Purchased My Saber, I was In contact with Emory, as I had a lot of questions.  Sure, He could have told me to go to the FAQ page, but he didn't.  He was quite patient with me and answered my questions, and addressed all my concerns.  This gave me the feeling that I was in good hands, and Therefore  went ahead and made my purchase..  Boy am I glad I did.  If you are looking to make your First Saber purchase, UltraSabers has plenty of Videos, an FAQ page, and this Forum to educate anyone on all aspects and Details of all the Sabers UltraSabers carries.
By the way, I am already looking forward to my next  Purchase which will Either be "The Chosen One"  SE or CE, I haven't made up my Mind yet...
I hope this helps anyone who is teetering on the edge of purchasing a Lifghtsaber from UltraSabers as I was. Trust me when I say, "You are only making an Investment in Yourself".  I have already started enjoying my lightsaber, and all of my Friends are Jealous....:)
Thanks again Emory, and the UltraSabers Team...

Hi.  Good detailed review and you will fit in nicely with the Additions support group.  " You are only making an investment in yourself " is a fine excuse or realization that should get a lot of mileage and kudos.  Here's the first dark side appreciation point to get you started.  :)

Darth Reaper, welcome to the fray!  Indeed, Dauntless beat me to it....".....an Inverstment in Yourself".  Those are prophetic words!  I like your thinking!  Post pictures OR do a video review and grap 300 Rewards points for doing so (there is a explanation under Announcements, I believe(?))  Careful!  You may fall into the same groove as the rest of us and mortgage the farm to own these fine implements of pleasure! ;)  Nice review, brother! Getcha' point for that one!
