Repaired my damaged Overlord last night.  Kyber crystal (battery) exploded while recharging.  Melted the battery/speaker assembly.     :o

New Menace CE on the way with Emerald/Sound/fully loaded.  First new saber in 2 years...can hardly wait!   ;D

What color is your DSI? That is sweet lookin'.

My DSI is actually Adegan Silver with Red FoC.  It has one of the Lee filters in it to make the lime green shade.  I was trying to get the Ashoka green.  The Red FoC comes out an amber shade through the filter.

Wouldn't it be cool if the illuminated switches had Tri-color LEDs so they automatically matched your blade color on Emerald models?  Another wiring nightmare for Ultrasabers!   :o

You know it. It would also be sweet if the V3s could support both Obsidean and Emerald boards.

I'd have called it acid green, but to each their own. I may have to invest in some Lee filters for the hilts in my arsenal that can't do disconnects.

Acid green?   :)  It looks radioactive in person.  I'll have to look up exactly which filter it was.  I have a 1.25" circular hole punch that lets you get 2-3 circles from each sheet in the Lee Sample Pack.  Here are a few more shots but the photos don't really do it justice -

Acid...Radioactive...same dif. It gives that vibe that the environment is really going to suffer.

On the floor though, it looks pretty close to the regular CG.

I think someone got a little to......."enthusiastic" when they drew Ahsoka. She still has her padawan beads, so this image is a bit disturbing. However, you matched the color beautifully.

Dude I like the look of your Dark Standard issue especially with the regular Archon pommel and the vertical grooves. That's a cool green color too =]

Hey Schtuperman.  Long time no see but welcome back.  I agree with you on the radioactive green color.  Looks similar to the radioactive gunk seen near Homer at the beginning of the Simpsons.  Possibly Kryptonite green.  +1 for you.  :D

Thanks.  The DSI was the last saber I purchased.  One day gazing through the various hilts I stumbled across a photo of it with the vertical groves and though it was sort of simple & elegant with the slanted emitter.  I knew right off the bat she was getting an Archon pommel.

Kinda of psyched because tomorrow I hope to be receiving my first new saber in two years - a Menace CE, Emerald, fully-loaded.   :o

Absolutely beautiful collection and a nice crisp shot of them together. I recently purchased a Menace SE(which you will love) and i thought the 10 months from my last purchase was long! Good on you for discipline and having time to save up. The Menace is definitely worth the wait.

Just received my Ultrasabers shipment with my fully-loaded Emerald Menace CE.  Freaking awesome!  True, nickle shows fingerprints, but you can twirl her around all day without turning your hands silver!  Beautiful fit & finish.  I got mine with the standard nickle upper/lower buttons, but I ordered a pair of blue & reds in case I want to switch things up.  This is my first Emerald saber & absolutely love being able to change colors at will.  I am still trying to figure out how to get the pulse effect just right.  Also noticed if you turn down the AV switch channel brightness it will pulse with the blade.  Very cool!   :o

I also ordered one of the adjustable vented couplers and FINALLY my staff buttons line up!   :D

I don't know what my Grab Bag promo is but OMG is it BIG!  Came in Guardian Blue with a non-illuminated switch that mimics the AV switches.  Think I might need to order a 40" blade for this one.   :)

Looks like the section below the switch on your grab bag is smooth? Any idea what hilt body you received? Handsome Menace CE btw :D

Yes it is smooth below the switch until down near the bottom there are 3-4 grooves.  I have no idea what hilt it is, or maybe its part of a pike?  Its cool...my nephew has been eyeballing it!   ;D

I'll tell you if you tell me what style pommel you got on your....."thingy".

I simply took it to a trophy engraver. I had intended to actually get it traditional-metal-removal engraved but then I found out that it was laser-engraving that was being offered. It burns the anodizing, resulting in 0-texture. He didn't have the font I originally wanted but told me I could download it online. So I figured if I have to download a font, let's see if some nerd has made a SW Basic font, and Boom. I went to bobafonts.com and downloaded the Aure-besh font. However the monogram above the pommel is simply Old English.
