Title: My Archon v3 Post by: Archonius on October 28, 2015, 04:53:44 PM I attended Tulsa, Oklahoma Comic Con on October 24th and the turn out was Awesome. I only waited a short time before my Nephew and I were let in early due to the Contv package I purchased. As soon as I got into the Vendors room, I went straight to the UltraSabers booth. I was originally going to upgrade my Archon v2.1 but, I decided to purchase the new Archon v3 instead. So, I ordered it and in less than 25 minutes, my Saber was ready. First thing I did was look over the entire saber for any flaws. Naturally, there weren't any flaws, because it was an UltraSaber. After looking it over very carefully, I turned it on and just as Emory said in the video, there was a minimal reduction in brightness. The reduction in brightness is simply due to the narrower neck on the new Emmitter but, the reduction in brightness is worth it because, the look of the Archon v3 is uterly amazing. Watching the video about the new Archon v3 is a good idea but, if you really want to know more about it you have to hold one on your hands. The Archon v3 is very solid and sleek in design and projects the image of what a lightsaber should be. It is a classic design for anyone who wants the look and feel of what a Jedi's weapon should be. I have personally seen the Lightsaber used in Return of the Jedi and there is little difference between the new Archon v3 and the original lightsaber used by Luke Skywalker in the film. The new Archon v3 isn't for everyone, I know and appreciate that but, if you are looking for the look and feel of a true Jedi weapon, the Archon v3 is the perfect Saber for that. Sleek in Design, Durable, Flawless and Beautiful. Personally, I am proud to own the Archon v3 and it will be my first choice of the sabers that I own, when going to Conventions and dueling, or simply showing other interested individuals how truly Amazing and Beautiful an UltraSaber is.

Really need the V3 in my life lol, you said that there was a minimal reduction in brightness, what LED set up did you go for the Tri Cree LEDs, emerald or the standard LEDs? |
