Title: My first Ultra Saber / Ultra Sabers random grab bag review - Aeon v4 without Win Post by: RedMileJedi on November 26, 2015, 02:51:26 PM Hey everyone. This is my first Ultra Saber and my first Ultra Saber video review.
I went with a random grab bag. I ended up getting an Aeon v4 without windows, and I couldn't be happier. The review is very raw. I was really excited about getting this. Looks so bad ass on my office desk! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZutC-R7OKFo&feature=youtu.be http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZutC-R7OKFo&feature=youtu.be Cheers, Title: Re: My first Ultra Saber / Ultra Sabers random grab bag review - Aeon v4 without Win Post by: KraytDragonPearl on November 28, 2015, 10:00:26 PM Well done on the review and good choice for a first saber.
I have two of the Aeon V4's (in BH) and have found them to be quite comfortable to spin and duel with. +1 for your review KDP Title: Re: My first Ultra Saber / Ultra Sabers random grab bag review - Aeon v4 without Win Post by: RedMileJedi on March 21, 2016, 12:42:49 PM Wasn't sure where to put this questions, so I figured my own review thread was a good idea since it applies to this very hilt.
I'm thinking of getting a blade for this hilt, for my 4 year old son. Light combat (play) dueling would apply. So 2 questions: 1. Can I add a blade to this GRAB BAG hilt? 2. Which blade and length is recommended? Remember: it's for a 4 year old. Light/moderate "play" dueling. Cheers! For someone that age, I recommend an Initiate blade - prices start from $7 for the grab bag blade, which is probably all he needs as he'll likely be whacking it against things so it'll pick up scuffs fairly quickly. May want to get a spare, just in case! :) Title: Re: My first Ultra Saber / Ultra Sabers random grab bag review - Aeon v4 without Win Post by: RedMileJedi on March 21, 2016, 01:14:08 PM Yes, blades can be ordered separately: https://www.ultrasabers.com/category-s/53.htm pFor someone that age, I recommend an Initiate blade - prices start from $7 for the grab bag blade, which is probably all he needs as he'll likely be whacking it against things so it'll pick up scuffs fairly quickly. Will that screw be strong enough for a blade? Title: Re: My first Ultra Saber / Ultra Sabers random grab bag review - Aeon v4 without Win Post by: eslabon on March 21, 2016, 03:55:09 PM Nice! Next saber I get for myself will be an Aeon v4. The little screw will hold the blade just fine. On my Prophecy, I just slide the blade in until it meets resistance (against the LED) and then tighten the screw. (Well the 2 screws on that one...) :)
