Title: Busy month for my Orbi-Wan persona.. Post by: Orbie Wan Technobie on December 04, 2015, 03:15:25 PM This weekend, I will be attending an educational technology conference, where Orbi-Wan Technobie will be attending a Star Wars themed costume and Karaoke party at least one evening, and may be making appearances elsewhere. Then, of course, seeing The Force Awakens at least twice in costume starting opening night.
Once our school district goes on Winter break, I have been asked to create short training video resources for new and substitute Technology Support Technicians (the job I hold) and have been given the nod to use Orbi-Wan in full costume as the on-camera instructor. The boss has okayed run of the building to shoot what ever we need (it's one of the newest in our district and I think I can emulate pseudo-Star Wars locations... Finally, I will likely begin driving for UBER on my off-time, and am seriously considering carrying the Jedi persona into that venue as well. Hey, what's the use of having a costume and props if it's just going to hang in a closet most of the time? Perhaps a lighter and less expensive costume for driving. Suggest pants with a shorter draped sleeved top and no cumbersome cape. An US or toy saber at side. There have been some really good cosplay costumes posted lately.
Gotta give you +1 for that license plate. Awesome. :D |
