Hope you guys like my lightsaber. Its my first ever Ultra Saber but its a year old. I know. xp For now its got a Mid Grade blade but I plan on upgrading to a Heavy Grade blade. Either way couldn't be more happier with my first Ultra Sabers purchase. A new saber will be added to the collection in 2 weeks. The Bellicose with Obsidian sound. Big upgrade for me.

Fantastic saber man.  LOVE the green - I'm a big fan of green sabers ;)  Always wanted a Liberator, heard they're light and very nice to wield.  I'm sure it has and will continue to serve you well, as will your new Bellicose!

@Vidnyl. Nice. I'm the one thats been talking about getting one for weeks now. The video will be kinda late because I was kinda off on the money. So it will most likely be second week of October but it will come. And yes I am married and yes those are all my axes in the back. xp I'm going full on Sith for the Bellicose though. Then after that I will save up another 50 bucks for a new Heavy Grade blade for my Liberator. I think if the blade looks dim I think the batts might be low, impressive to last for nearly a year without useage though.

Nice saber. But for Pete's sake get some stands for your guitars! They're too pretty to lean against the wall like that.

@Jack. I know. I plan to next month. I'm actually going to get a wall hanger type stand. Oh and sorry if my pics are too big. I think its better if the pics are big that way you can see the full details of the sabers. Oh and the guitars I have, 2 Schecters, 1 Dean, 1 Jackson, and 1 Cruzer Crafter. (Which is a good brand actually). Sorry to be off topic. Did I mention that Ultra Sabers is awesome? :D Morning by the way...

Also just a question I had, when you get a Mid Grade blade for lets say the Bellicose saber, which I will be getting in 2 weeks, do you experience any wobblyness like when you're swinging the saber around or doing front swings? That happens on my Liberator alot which has the Mid grade blade but I just love the blade too much. Thanks for the info.

I can understand your excitement about your saber. I know. I haven't even ordered mine yet and I'm already driving myself into a fit to hold my saber. But untill i order mine ill just have to look at pictures and dream of epic lightsaber duels.

@Tratus. Well the Mid Grade blade I got for my Liberator wobbles for some reason. Like when I swing I can see the blade film kinda crunch I guess you can say. I even tested it in my MHS saber thats broken right now and it still wobbled. o_o Anyone else that can give me info though on that would be appreciated. I know someone on here has a Bellicose with a Mid Grade blade but I forget who.

Probably me.  I just checked it.  No wobble here.  When I first got it though, the screws were loose (the saber not me-ha) on both the blade in the blade holder, and the blade holder in the hilt.  I tightened both of them and have not had any problems.

I put my spare mid-grade in my Dark Liberator sometimes, and haven't noticed any wobble.

@Jack. Well mine does for some reason. Should the blade be a snug fit even though its a thin walled? When the bolt presses against the blade there is a big space between the blade and emitter. Maybe I need a new blade after all?

I've heard of this being an issue with the Liberator.  Try this, wrap something around the base of the blade where it goes into the hilt for a snug fit.  This should reduce, if not eliminate, the wobble.

@Nero. I've tried everything. o_o I'm hoping to score a thicker blade soon. I think thats what the problem is with the stunt sabers is that they need the thicker blades. Still going for a Heavy Grade because I love the core effect.

Good choice.  I like the heavy grade myself, it's pretty solid (no pun intended).  Like you said, the midgrade is a bit more flexible, resulting in a slightly more wobbly blade.  The heavy grade with its thicker walls is much more stiff, and should work well for you.

Ohh ok. I read about that on the thin walled blades and I guess I just forgot about that part. Do thin walled blades work better with metal blade holders though such as the Bellicose saber?

Actually, I put a mid-grade in my DL, and I noticed what you're talking about. I think it's just a Liberator thing.

Well jeez then. I wish I could send it back for a Dark LE Prophecy then. Maybe something can be worked out.

Also I guess I'm not the only one with the Liberator problem. Wonder what it could be though for all Liberator owners. Maybe they were out of place on the innards on something.

I use a couple layers of translucent packing tape around the base of my mid-grades in my liberator. works like a charm.

Oh and I guess my Liberator blade is just fine. Deep just said that the blade sits up kinda high on that certain saber. Hope this clears for anyone else that owns a Liberator saber with a Mid Grade blade. Maybe they will re-make the Liberator with a deeper blade socket like the Dominix V2 saber.

I'm actually just thinking about building up my US stunt saber collection. Doesn't hurt right? I've been a fan of the Dominix saber since day one and that was back in like 2006 or eariler, can't remember which. So Monday I'm going to be ordering a Dominix V2 LE in Blazing Red with a Mid Grade blade. Then for my bro a normal Dmonix V2 same color and blade, so we can be Sith brothers. :D I just don't really care too much to have a sounded saber at the moment. Does the Dominix hold the Mid Grade blades better? I know they have a deeper blade socket than most US so I just thought I'd ask. Anyway, have a nice weekend. New Pics and a video will be up next week.

I had another problem with my Arbiter, I had to use dremel on my new ultra edge blades because they were to thick. (small margins) as we say in norway. It has to fit perfectley not to tight and of course not to loose either , :DGood luck!!

Now I'm stuck. x.x I really want the Dominix V2 LE but I don't have enough. But I also like the original Dominix V2 plus it reminds me of the V1 Dominix. Which should I go for or which would you go for? .-. Both are awesome looking sabers. This will be my last saber purchase for a long while by the way so yeah.

Then let me say this:

Save up.  Ultra JUST got back from a convention.  We haven't seen any updates for a little while and I have a good feeling that something is looming on the horizon.  If you are REALLY having that much trouble, what will it hurt to wait a month or two?  You can have save up for your Dominix LE OR you can (maybe) buy a BRAND NEW HILT!

Again, this is speculation, I have NO PRIOR KNOWLEDGE, just a good feeling through the Force.  Besides, Ultra has never let us down before.

I second this.  Be patient, see what Ultra has in store.  I have a feeling he has something very cool up his sleeve...

Ok I have enough for a Dominix V2 LE. =] Just wanted to double check. I want my last (for awhile anyway) saber purchase to be a good one you know, like a grand leaving kinda thing. Its going to be in Blazing Red with a Mid Grade blade. I'm getting the saber on Monday and should be here by Friday or Saturday so pics and a video will come up right away. Is it ok if I add more pics plus a new video to this thread? I just don't want to take up alotta room in the gallery page ya know. Plus like I said I've been a Dominix fan since day one and seeing a metal version V2 and LE is awesome to me.

I was actually looking at the Aeon LE saber and thought that would look sexy as a Sith saber so I'm going for that, just to have something different. Still same options though, Blazing Red Mid Grade blade.

As long as you are happy that is what matters!  Can't wait to see your review!

@Vydnil. I'm sure I will be happy with the Aeon LE. Anyone else own one? If so how are they in person and with a Mid Grade blade? If anymore new stunt sabers comes out next week though I may wait.

Just wondering if there will be any new stunt sabers coming out this week. I would like to see a rounded emitter style version stunt saber in the Standard Issue series, maybe bring back the originals too.

Please understand, Ultra has always said when he knows he'll let us know.  Asking "out loud" won't get you an answer from him because he will let us know when the product is 100% ready for production, he won't tell you in advance.  It's a gamble, because when a saber is marked LE it really does mean that they only made so many and once they're gone they're gone for good.  SO you must choose . . . and act (Sorry, Nero!).  Wait and see or buy.

I know I would like to have an Aeon LE. They do look like a sweet saber to have. But if new stunts come out I will buy some more next year sometime.

If this was your last saber purchase for a long while which would you go for in a stunt saber? Dominix V2 LE or Aeon LE? Not sure what to get yet but it'll be one of those two. x.x

@DarthCantus I love my Dominix, it's a great choice. Also, I just got tracking info on my Aeon LE staff(Phantasm) I'll be putting up pictures when it comes in.

Phantasm LE will be epic, what colors did you choose for your LEDs?

@Vex and Jersey. Nice. My Dominix V2 LE will be in Blazing Red with Mid Grade blade. Ves, do you notice any wobblyness with your Mid Grade blade in your Dominix?

The Dominix/Aeon is a great choice. Congrats on your new purchase!

I wouldn't say wobble, but it does flex a bit , and when it does you can see the film inside the blade crinkle a bit. 

@Vex. Exactly. Thats what my blade does on my Liberator. Are the Mid Grade blades good for light dueling though? Me and my bro might do our own version of the Ep.III fight. :D

Midgrade blades work quite well for even moderate dueling.  They're very durable, Artorius and I duel with them all the time (though I admit we don't WAIL on each other or anything) and ours have held up very well.

@Nero. Nice. Order has been placed by the way. Dominix V2 LE in Blazing Red with Mid Grade blade. :D I just see both versions of the Dominix saber as a Sith saber, I don't know why. I hope the saber is here by Saturday. This will be my last saber for awhile but I am good. I've been wanting the Dominix for years and I finally got one. Not yet but you know what I mean.

Lightsaber should be shipped out tomorrow because its in the final processing stages. So hopefully it'll be in by Saturday or Monday possibly Tuesday. I'll keep updates though. Have a nice one.

I found out that I ordered my Liberator saber in December 18th 2010. So my saber is a year old now. xp Yes it took me this long to post a short review, pics, and a video. Oh and I put fresh batteries in my saber so I will post more pics of the blade at its brightest. :D

Patiently waiting my new saber. Such a long wait sometimes... x.x

@Kham. Well my order is obviously almost done because I can't edit it anymore. Hopefully it'll be shipped this week still so I will probably get the saber next week sometime then. I know they just got back from DragonCon so they are probably just taking it slow for now.

Also how about a Initiate Heavy Grade blade option??@Ultra. But keep it at the same 10 dollar price. :D I don't really like the long blades too much. I do but I don't at the same time.

You can get the heavy grade in Initiate size.  I personally think the 32" blade is a cool option, gives you a nice size in between the short Initiate and the long 36" blade.  Great for nimble single handed wielding!

@Nero. Ohh cool. My order is still processing so it will probably be awhile. Its been 2 days though still processing. x.x Wonder whats taking so long.

Patience, I know it's exciting waiting for it to arrive but they're still getting caught up from their time away... I'm sure they are WAY backlogged with orders, they should have yours out in a day or two.  In the meantime, train with your Liberator!  ;)

I'm struggling as well, I've wanted a Liberator for some time now.  I could use a saber in SRD... NO NO RESIST THE TEMPTATION NERO!

@Nero. Go for it. The Liberator is the perfect practice/spinning saber. The saber is light weight so what you've heard is true. Only thing thats a pain is getting the battery pack out. I think the Liberator would look killer in SRD. In a few months I may get a original Prophecy in AB cause the saber would look sweet in that color. Or if the SI sabers do come back maybe I will get one in AS, they do look alot like the Imperial Knight sabers but with added style. Bring back the SI sabers! xp I want a DSI saber in AS.

Now I'm getting worried if my order wen't through or not. Its been 3 days now and still processing. x.x I made my Dominix V2 LE order on Monday. I'm just wondering whats going on is all. Nero, hope you can get a Liberator. It really is a good saber. I might end up getting 2 Ultra Edge Mid Grade blades though so I don't have to worry about the film crinkling anymore.

Do not worry about the time.  Your saber will make it out of the shop as quickly as Deep and the team can process it.

My future future saber is going to be a Bane in Blazing Red, Heavy Grade blade, and Obsidian sound with red av button and li-ion battery set-up. That won't be for awhile though. xp Probably get it next year sometime so whenever this post disappears I will make a new one with updated sabers.

My Dominix V2 LE finally shipped! It comes in next Wednsday on the 21st. :D Thanks guys. Pics and a video will be up when the saber gets in but I'm going to put fresh batteries in that way its nice and bright. Sorry if I was annoying the past few days, I was just worried if I made the order right or not. I actually had some points so the purchase was cheaper. The My Rewards points system is awesome.

Oh my Dominix might actually come in earlier. On Friday it said 3 days left so I'm guessing possibly Monday but still might be Wednsday. I've gotten Ultra Saber orders earlier before. I just want either days to hurry up. Too excited to finally have a Dominix V2 LE in my hands. :D

You guys sure its safe to duel with Mid Grade blades? I was just doing some practice swings with my Liberator and it feels like the blade could fly right off. Kinda worried. x.x I don't want to duel when my Dominix V2 LE gets here and have the blades break or fly off.

For you pic problem. every time you change any thing in your Forum Profile Information you have to repast you avatar image link so my guess is when you added you starkiller sig or changed some info you didn't repaste the  avatar image http:// so just repast it in your forum profile info and check profile info summmary and it should show you general stats and your avatar pic. Also mid-grade blades are designed for light to medium style dueling if it's feels like the blade is wobbly and going to fly off  make sure the blade is seated deeply in the saber  and tighten the blade retention screw.

@Boss. It is but it still feels like that. It just worries me is all. The bolt is nice and tight and the blade sits evenly inside but still feels like the blade would fly off. I'm not the only one with the problem of the Liberator though. Deep said they set the blade kinda high on that saber though and thats the reason for it. I'm just wondering if the blade would break or fly off during dueling though like if anyone else has the same blade and has dueled with it.

If you swing with the intent of hitting as hard as you possible can you might crack the blade.  Talking no restraint trying to kill someone swing here.  I've never heard of one of these blades straight up breaking apart.  Tip pop off yes, blade broke in half no.

I was just going to do medium dueling with the sabers. Oh and only two more days left and new picture posting. :D Oh and I might be able to score the new Archon with Obsidian sound, its just too awesome to pass up. I will probably have it in November sometime. I have a design for a Nemesis V2 Ultra could use but I don't know if its allowed.

One more day and my Dominix V2 LE in Blazing Red with Mid Grade blade is here. :D Unless it comes in later today because the saber is actually here in Ohio now so hopefully I still get lucky. If not then I guess I can wait a few hours tomorrow until I get home to check out my new saber and play with it. xp Its gonna bug me though not to be able to hold my new saber for the hours I am at work. D:
