Well, the saber cabinet that I have been working on is finally complete, and almost filled.  Guess I should have made it bigger.  It is 4 feet high by 4 feet wide.  Hope the pics are not too large, usually photbucket asks what size I wanted to make them, this time it didn't.

Lights out and sabers on.  With all of them on it was pretty loud, cuddles went running.  By the way, the Raven Staff is on top.

It's like a holiday in that room with all the sabers on!  Wonderful collection QTH.

Nice. Wish I had the money to build my US collection like that. My dream sabers are the Consular in CG with Obsidian and a Bellicose in BR with Obsidian. This week though I will be ordering a new Dominix V2 LE in BR.

That's a sweet collection, and they all look great lit up in that cabinet. I have a question though. Does that Count Dooku have a Cane Tip on it, like a walking stick, or is that just a black plastic cap on the blade?

@ Shak:  That was the original intension when I got them, but I didn't care for the look with the connector (black or silver).  If I could get one that was flush with the bodies, and black they would be combined.  Yes all are Obsidian, except for the Hasbro, of course If US can/ever obsidianize them they would/will be.

@ Darth Cantus:  I had spare money to buy after selling my double wide trailer, plus the US summer sale (thanks Ultra).

@ Big Boss:  The cabinet was my first attempt other than pre-assembled kits.  I used shelving material.  My next one will be made of oak (probably next summer).

@ Dirty Jersey:  Yep, thats a cane tip.  I had US convert the blade to a ultra heavy grade blade, cut to 25 inches.  It works perfectly.  I'm gonna use it when I get old and need a cane.

I ordered a standard Initiate blade before and I was lucky enough to have a Heavy Grade Initiate blade sent without asking. That is the one I use in my RGB Dominix when I need to use it as a light source and walking stick. I definitely like your style.

The Count Dooku hilt is much too heavy to be swinging as a saber.  So when I seen someone else who had mentioned a saber cane I knew right away it would be good for that.  And yea, any lighter blade would bend to easy under the pressure. 

Nice little collection there, Qui-Tom. And a nice display shelf as well.

I think you are referring to my post where I converted a Dark Initiate into a Walking Stick. http://www.saberforum.com/index.php?topic=2284.0 (http://www.saberforum.com/index.php?topic=2284.0) That is why I really like your Count Dooku idea. Especially since yours lights up.

Can I also just say that Looking now, I love that all you US have an AV switch. ;D

@ Dan:  A mirrored bottom, what are you going to use to sit the pommel on, assuming you are going to display them similar to the way I have?  I actually wanted to get one of those round big long pool toy things and cut them into numerous cup type holders (similar to the black ones you can buy on-line).

Sooo... much.... awesomeness! All that AV! All that Obsidian! WOW! You are one lucky Dude, Qui-Tom. And that case is fantastic, I love how you worked it out to be both an effective weapons rack AND display cabinet for your various other Wars collectibles. BTW, are those action figure 4 packs I see in there? I don't recognize the packaging, but those look like some sweet sets in there!

It's actually on the TCSS website. Here's a pic of it, I'm planning on adding something to hold it up off the base so you can see under it more. I like it though. :)

They are from Hasbro and are quoteing from one of the packages, Blu-Ray Release Commemorative Figure & Mini-Poster Collections.  There are 6 packages, one for each episode.  Some of the individual figures have been changed for the better with more detailing.

And I ended up getting 2 DL-44 blasters from "Spirit Halloween".  They were cheap and are just the standard orange and white plastic ones, but I plan to paint them sometime and display them with the sabers.



Ahh, I see.  Possibly a stand made from cut and glued plexi-glass?

Actually good news. Apparently it was supposed to come with a stand, but their shipper screwed up. So they're going to send it to me. :)

That is good news. I thought I saw a stand in the display picture on TCSS. Nice that they're gonna send it to you.

I totally agree, and like Ultrasabers I can't complain about their customer service. It took them only four days to get the stand to me. And I have to say it adds a lot to my display case. Check it out. :)

It's reassuring to hear that you got good customer service from them. That kind of word-of-mouth will surely gain them new customers such as myself when i need a new MHS part from them.

Exactly man! Their customer service is on par with Ultrasabers (and we all know how far they will go to make us happy... pretty much to Pluto and back ;D ). I honestly couldn't even begin to describe how happy I am with both these company's. What amazes me is how I didn't even ask them about it. I just posted up a review stating how in the description it says it comes with a stand when I didn't get one, but I still loved my case and I was ok without having one. And like Ultrasabers would be in this kind of situation they were like, "Whoops we screwed up don't worry we're going to fix it so you're completely happy." Four days later I get a package in the mail and there's my missing stand. I can't begin to tell you how awesome it is to have company's like Ultrasabers who are completely dedicated to making sure we as the consumer are completely happy with what we have bought. I know for a fact that if they don't have it at Ultrasabers the TCSS will be the next place I look from now on. I couldn't be any happier. :)

As for the stand I totally agree. It really adds to the display case. I thought I liked it before, but now...  :o Until Ultrasabers starts making their own display cases this case will be what I'm getting. :)
