I was wondering if crystal pommels would become a possibility or are availabe nad if so how much would it cost? :D :) heres a link to the pic.

with or without the light shining through i dont mind i just want them :D

I believe these are something you could get done through the CSO, when it's open. That's Ultra's custom division, and it's pretty much expressly for things like adding accent lights to the hilt, sound in non-standard sabers, and all that other really cool stuff that doesn't come standard.

I may have to message Ultra himself and ask if this would be possible as i love the idea of it because it looks really different and would open up alot more customisations for people to do.

Well, he is supposed to announce when the CSO is open and taking orders. I'd wait until then to talk to him about a slot, just because he did say awhile back he has alot of work going on right now. ;) But yea, I'm sure he'd be able to get it done for you when that service is up and running. :) Bet you it turns out SWEET too!

On a similar note, if you poke around on here there's a guy who put a custom crystal chamber in his consular. It's AMAZING, you might get some cool ideas from that if you check it out. It should come up in the search.

I don't have a pic myself, but if you mean the crystal pommel then I believe Nero has one in his Luke RotJ. There is a thread for that up somewhere, but I'm not sure exactly where. If you mean the Consular Crystal chamber, there is a thread with pics and whatnot for that too. Just search Consular Crystal Chamber and it will come up, or try Crystal Pommel and you should find some threads with pics. Also, I believe most of Master Caine's sabers feature crystal pommels, so if you check the general gallery for threads by him you should come up with something REALLY cool. (he has an AWESOME collection) Hope that helps!  :)

Crystal pommels were innovated by my friend LDM (GENERAL GREIVOUS) of FX-Sabers for a few years now. At first it was balked a little from traditionalists, now they are a standard in both lower and higher end customs.

*nods agreement* Yeah, I'm sorta one of those traditionalists myself. I prefer a crystal chamber to be less visible, and higher in the hilt (personal preference, as with all saber features :) ) but I still have to admit that a crystal pommel is a SWEET feature and often adds a mysterious / ominous aura to the hilt. It's really sweet to see them in some of Master Caine's videos with the idle hum and an eerie glow coming out of the sound vents.... sort of hits it home that this is a lightsaber, and it means business.  8)

I'm with Manroon but also have to say there is something really awesome about the end of your saber glowing and humming.

I think it would look especially cool if the crystal pulsed like a heart beat during idle, then single bright pulses during each clash. Maybe even use the crystal as the Ignite button.

Now if said lightsabers actually showed a crystal that would be bad ass

OMG. That's epic!  Now I dream of a bane lightsaber set up like that with a pyrestone crystal. Do you think that cso can do a custom job like that?

Yes this is something the CSO, once it's cranking, will most likely be able to do.
