Title: Battery pack completely stuck.
Post by: Tysoncrosby21 on January 22, 2016, 01:56:15 AM
Just got my prophecy today, took the battery pack out and put the batteries on the charger (li-on setup) however, the battery pack/speaker went back in very snug and no amount of force can dislodge it.  I've shook it, banged it on teh table, everything I can think of, it's NOT moving.

Emory's third point should help. Like he says be careful. Best of luck!

Not sure the prophecy has a removable emitter/MLS unit, still possible to get at the battery from the top?

Not sure. It may also help to have the metal around the battery pack slightly warmer, although not damaging levels of heat. This may expand the metal just enough to slip the battery pack free.

I have noticed that orientation makes all the different in the world between the battery/speaker combo fitting tight and fitting loose enough to get it out easily. Find out what works best for your saber, my Graflex SE likes it when the V4 soundboard is at a 45 degree angle to the left of the activation box. Any other orientation requires more effort.
