Title: How Might I Preview a Font Post by: LordTargaryus on February 03, 2016, 09:31:10 PM Is there a way to preview the font? I haven't downloaded the obsidian launcher yet so if there is a way to preview the sound there I will find out soon enough.
Title: Re: How Might I Preview a Font Post by: Darth Justicar on February 03, 2016, 11:16:11 PM A couple of ways I can think of. There's a thread here (can't find it on my phone) that has a ton of fonts where you can download them to your PC. You can listen to each file that way.
Also, some fonts have been reviewed on YouTube, and that can make a very convenient way of previewing too. I found a funny Imperial March dubstep sound font that way for when I'm in my Kylo Ren outfit and decide to go full on "super dorky Vader fanboy." Once installed, it wont let you "open" the font sounds as you would a wav or mp3. Instead you have to "import" and then "raw data". Once you do this you will have loaded a clip (let's say power on sound). And then you can decide if that's a sound you would like to use in your saber. Thats the way I do it anyways. Takes me about 10 seconds to get to hear each sound.

I'm super into Blackstar so I'm not even shopping around now that I actually have the saber. |
