Title: Removing the battery pack Post by: Dave316 on September 22, 2011, 01:11:38 PM Sorry if this has been asked before, but I was just wondering how you guys take out your battery packs to either charge the batteries or plug the obsidian in? I'm able to do it on mine, but I worry I'm going to damage it as its stuck in there really tight (I understand why its tight, I wouldn't have it any other way). I basically have to give it a few hits on the floor to budge it. Is there an easier way to get it out of there? Thanks everybody.

Like you said, a few careful taps should pop it out. Apart from that, I would recommend needle nose pliers - that way you don't have to worry about damaging your saber knocking it on a surface.
I'm glad they have those things wedged so tight now - when my friend and I first got our original Ultrasabers in PVC, we were twirling them and his battery pack shot out the bottom when he was doing some figure 8s. He was crushed lol. Yeah agreed that it's good that they are tight like that. The pommels are so nicely made too, and screw in really well. My bellicose is especially awesome for that. Put a tough string that is wrapped around the battery back to pull it out enough for you get grab battery pack but not make the string too long to put back with the pommel.
