Title: Sentinel V4 review
Post by: Paladin67 on April 01, 2016, 02:55:14 PM
This was my first Ultrasaber and it won't be my last. Thanks to a TON of people on the forum who gave me great advice so I could make an informed decision and get a great saber. I'm very happy with the Obsidian lite soundboard and the Tri-Cree blue is amazingly bright. I love the feel of the hilt. Much lighter than expected. I added o rings to customize and it really makes it pop.

I'm getting good battery life with the stabndard setup especially after going to the higher rated rechargeable batteries as recommended here on the forum.

Pros: awesome hilt and brightness, price and turn around
Cons: none

Going to try and attach my review video below. ( somebody tell me if I goofed)

Nice review! That Tri Cree blue looks stunning. It looks like you're in a well lit room and that blade is still uber bright!

Good job, I appreciate people like yourself that make these video reviews. Nice touch with the o-rings.

Great saber you got there, the same as me, but I went with Tri consular green instead. I was also thinking of getting O-rings, but I don't know if it would look good since I cant put the O-rings on all the grip part because of the covertec wheel, I would have to leave like 3 or 4 gaps with out a ring. A point for you.

Great review Paladin67 . . . +1  :)

The Obsidian LITE is an excellent option for those sabers we only play with here or there, not continuous use . . . I'd be interest to know how long standard alkaline batteries last with that minimal type of use with Ob.LITE (not saying you don't use it enough, lol) . . . I have a couple of stunt sabers with the AAA setup that still have the same batteries as shipped months ago because they are displayed and only used very rarely . . .

The Sentinel is one of my absolute favourites . . . . great choice  ;D

And good job getting your cat to meow on cue, right at the end of your vid, hehe . . . .  ;)

Great looking saber Paladin67!

And awesome video.  If you right click the video title to copy it, and not the video itself, then it will auto embed when pasted.  Don't forget to delete the s on HTTPS.

A point for making a great vid, and for saying we all rock. :)
