The settings include battery voltage the Driver is powered with, different LED types that can be used with the Driver, and the Overdrive which controls the power to the LED.
Any changes on these settings can alter the colours produced (change of LED type), damage the Driver, the LED or both (Overdrive) or the behaviour of the Driver (battery voltage). The Driver is quite complex, and a wrong setting could blow up a $400 saber!
