Title: Needed to fabricate a rack Post by: Master Medwyn on May 01, 2016, 12:55:03 PM Saber storage became an issue pretty soon so I collected some leftover wood and put a weapon rack together for five. It's a simple "grab'n'go" style.
From left to right: - Dom v4 (a gift to one of my good friends but he still have about half a year until we can meet) - DApp (my wife's saber) - Prophecy (you probably know this already) - Aeon v4 (my light side representative) - Dom v4 (my dark side representative) Once the mythical Consular arrives (and I'm still amongst the living) it'll have not just sound (a LITE however) but a separate two-piece stand so I can put it on the window sill. (I can't see the pic nor I can retrieve it by any witchcraft I can muster...) Title: Re: Needed to fabricate a rack Post by: Rapine on May 02, 2016, 10:17:29 PM (I can't see the pic nor I can retrieve it by any witchcraft I can muster...) (medwyn - each time I see your sig pic, I want my Prophecy more and more - can't wait to hold that puppy). :) Title: Re: Needed to fabricate a rack Post by: Master Medwyn on May 02, 2016, 10:23:16 PM HMPH - I saw it no problem. (medwyn - each time I see your sig pic, I want my Prophecy more and more - can't wait to hold that puppy). :) I may have to recalibrate the proton-ion positive-negative picture condensor in my comp then. Lord Rapine, you'll be delighted to hold the nimble Prophecy! It's like an elegant sawing needle in your hand! :) Edit: MavRick, I see it now! Looks great, mine is a rustic old bench comparing to yours! :) Title: Re: Needed to fabricate a rack Post by: MavRick on May 03, 2016, 08:17:01 PM Thanks for the complement, Medwyn. Your's looks just fine. ;)

Title: Re: Needed to fabricate a rack Post by: hazard502 on May 04, 2016, 03:18:29 AM Well done and a point for going after some proper storage for your collection ... these weapons need more than just a corner to rest in :D
Title: Re: Needed to fabricate a rack Post by: scifidude79 on May 04, 2016, 03:03:37 PM Sweet saber rack! I like yours too, MavRick. Points for both of you. I like the vertical displays, very nice. Plus, not only do the sabers look easy to grab, but the whole unit is grab and go. You can set it up somewhere else without drilling holes. 8)

Well done and a point for going after some proper storage for your collection ... these weapons need more than just a corner to rest in :D Hahhahahah, I thought I wasn't alone with the corner-thing but it's nice to have reassurance :D I like the vertical displays, very nice. Plus, not only do the sabers look easy to grab, but the whole unit is grab and go. You can set it up somewhere else without drilling holes. 8) Yeah, I too keep a strict "no drilling"-policy :) Title: Re: Needed to fabricate a rack Post by: MavRick on May 06, 2016, 11:19:48 PM Indeed , ;) mine started out in the corner as well and it got full quickly. That's what inspired the display rack!
