1. Would anyone be interested in a soundfont based on TR-8R's electrostaff? I know I would! :D :D 2. Has anyone else made one? I'd hate to steal someone else's idea, but as I haven't found one yet, I'll be making one if there's interest. As I couldn't find a soundfont that sounded like TR-8R's electrostaff, I decided to make one of my own. This is the BETA version of TR-8R's Electrostaff as seen in the fight scene (refer to video below) between him and Finn in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Again, I am an amateur at making soundfonts, and the source footage (again, refer to video below) isn't exactly ideal, so please be a little forgiving if this isn't up to par. Like I said, it's unfinished, and it needs a lot of work. I spent a lot of time removing vocals, background noise, blaster fire, etc. I've tested it on my saber, and I've tried to eliminate all motion-to-sound lag, so it should work just fine there. I actually started working on an extremely clean rip of the TR-8R riot weapon to make for a font. I got all I needed but haven't assembled it. Now that the new movie is out, there's definitely more reason to have melee type fonts out there. I'll configure mine, but it'll be on saberfont.com I'll post a demo when it's done.
