I am going to buy an Initiate v3 ultrasaber with sunrider's destiny and Obsidian Lite sound. I was wondering which FoC color to use for SRD (I dont't like super contrasting colors like orange) and which blade type to get for SRD. I won't be dueling much so I was thinking midgrade or ultraedge midgrade.

As for blade, that's mostly up to the user. I like regular blades, while others like ultraedge blades. In theory, ultraedge is better for blues and greens as they can still be bright with the full blade look, while red tends to dim slightly. I have the AB FoC with mine and there is enough of a contrast to see the difference. Here is a photo of SRD and of AB for reference. I mostly use an UEMG blade. 32" is a good length for an Initiate saber. :)
