Title: Lightsaber wall mounts Post by: buddygroove on August 26, 2016, 06:10:18 AM Well they are really flashlight mounts, but work great for your ultrasaber. ;D

Awesome display with the sabers and posters. I like it a lot. ;D Title: Re: Lightsaber wall mounts Post by: DarthScrub on August 27, 2016, 12:09:50 AM They do offer a very nice simple display for the sabers, I've been meaning to pick some up :P
Title: Re: Lightsaber wall mounts Post by: buddygroove on August 27, 2016, 02:45:04 AM Thanks guys. I heard there are better wall mounts out there, but I believe they are sold out or don't sell them no more. The Maglite ones work great and are cheap.
Title: Re: Lightsaber wall mounts Post by: scifidude79 on August 27, 2016, 04:30:57 AM Better? I don't know about that, a number of people around here swear by the Maglite ones. I need to get some also. It beats having stunt sabers laying around all over. ;)
Title: Re: Lightsaber wall mounts Post by: For Tyeth on August 27, 2016, 11:02:03 AM There is another option I have seen used. If you search online for "Shoreline Kayak Paddle Clips" you may find these useful. I know someone who uses these to hold their Raven (with claws attached) pretty firmly to the wall and as the clips are made of rubber they won't scratch your hilts!
Title: Re: Lightsaber wall mounts Post by: Force Metal on August 31, 2016, 09:07:46 AM I went with the same hooks I use to hang my guitars, I just squeesed the arms closer together.
Excuse the awful pics (http://i1126.photobucket.com/albums/l616/TeamGreen7/20160831_185315_zpsofgidbn4.jpg) My kids get to enjoy them as my room has no space left (http://i1126.photobucket.com/albums/l616/TeamGreen7/20160814_154917_zpswwokxirx.jpg) Title: Re: Lightsaber wall mounts Post by: For Tyeth on August 31, 2016, 11:45:16 AM Hi Force Metal,
Nice suggestion, and I like the choice of poster! Makes me wanna sing "Run...to...the....Hilts!" ;D Title: Re: Lightsaber wall mounts Post by: bigBear on September 01, 2016, 03:24:43 PM there's also a few decent stands on etsy that light up. but that would sit on a table or the like...just another option.
Title: Re: Lightsaber wall mounts Post by: Master Medwyn on September 01, 2016, 11:51:59 PM Makes me wanna sing "Run...to...the....Hilts!" ;D :D (Nice mount, Force Metal and buddygroove!) Title: Re: Lightsaber wall mounts Post by: buddygroove on September 03, 2016, 02:54:15 AM Nice idea Force Metal. And thanks. Medwyn. :)

I didn't use anchors and you can see my Renegade is having no issues even though it weights a lot. The rubber grips hug the blade snug and the metal around the rubber is flexable so it form fits well.
(http://i64.tinypic.com/rc7zhg.jpg) and in case you wonder what my sabers are: Shock wrapped in green metal vinyl, Mantis, Renegade, other guys wrapped with purple vinyl, Initiate v3(got at dragoncon today), and my project Dominix that is custom painted. Title: Re: Lightsaber wall mounts Post by: BatMike90 on October 13, 2016, 11:00:18 PM Would a D Cell bracket fit a Scorpion?
Title: Re: Lightsaber wall mounts Post by: tomfoyle on October 17, 2016, 09:59:55 AM Would a D Cell bracket fit a Scorpion? Yes a D cell will fit the silver choke point on the Scorpion, however it will be quite a tight fit! I have been using the MagLite clips for a while now and have had the occasional breakage when they are stretched too far. My Scorpion has been fine so far though... I plan to get some of the broom holders and see how they compare. Good luck :) Title: Re: Lightsaber wall mounts Post by: Soul on December 09, 2016, 08:50:07 AM I know this isn't a wall mount, but being a renter I couldn't do a permanent install, so I wanted something stand-alone. I found this on ebay... it's a corner table pool cue stand 8)
