Does anyone know where to get a good pair of gauntlet gloves? I'm looking for something that will be both functional and cosmetic, as in it will provide good protection while dueling and also look really cool?

Check out the "Costume Buying Guide" near the top of this section of the forum. Alternatively, check out Etsy - but beware, a lot of that is going to be rather overpriced.

There was a link a friend here gave me to actual leather gloves and they had gauntlet style ones too.... Ill see if he can remember it?

I have used the padded ones for blunt steel sword work.

I'd look on ebay for a nice set of Lacrosse gloves with a shape I like and then spray paint them to match whatever costume I'm putting together.  That way you'll get as much protection for sparring as you can get.
