Title: Electrum Wind (Pic Heavy) Post by: DarthXero on September 29, 2016, 05:11:19 AM Hey guys! So, I finally got my hands on one of these bad boys, and I just had to share it with you all...
So this is the latest addition to my collection, and of course Ultra Sabers' newest lovechild...I give you: The Electrum Wind. (http://i1207.photobucket.com/albums/bb478/iXero93/153_zpsxemjvhfm.jpg) (http://i1207.photobucket.com/albums/bb478/iXero93/150_zps6leav8nh.jpg) Now you may be asking yourself, which LED did I decide to put on this "Bad Motherf***er?" Need I say more? (http://i1207.photobucket.com/albums/bb478/iXero93/149_zpsneqylfn6.jpg) Boom. Dark Violet Amethyst for Emerald...And while I must admit, I'm a bit underwhelmed by the particular colorization (A little too much pink at the base), I'm still thoroughly satisfied~ (http://i1207.photobucket.com/albums/bb478/iXero93/154_zps7nk3u3rr.jpg) A bit of a look with the lights off: (http://i1207.photobucket.com/albums/bb478/iXero93/147_zps2pxaohrs.jpg) Now I want to go into a little feature that I found fascinating about the construction of this particular saber...Note that each piece of this saber is its own unique shroud, greatly increasing the potential for customization, and it's sure to be a hit among our lovers of the MHS. (That's not even entirely dismantled, either. There are two screws on the back of the grips, which hold both the grip section and the lower rubberized section onto the saber.) (http://i1207.photobucket.com/albums/bb478/iXero93/156_zpsrmgtqf2p.jpg) Anyway, I hope you all liked my review, and found it helpful in your selection of this magnificent beast. I hope to have a video review completed eventually, so keep your eyes out, fellow saber enthusiasts! Until the next addition to my meager little collection~ 8) Title: Re: Electrum Wind (Pic Heavy) Post by: JediXIX on September 29, 2016, 08:23:30 AM Great review DarthXero . . . +1 :)

Title: Re: Electrum Wind (Pic Heavy) Post by: Darth Acervus on September 29, 2016, 10:50:21 AM Nice, very nice, good review & I certainly wouldn't call your collection meager! Is that 10 or 11 sabers now ?and good mix too . The Electrum looks great amoungst them(can I count the 3 little babies up near the monitor lol) point for you sir :D
Title: Re: Electrum Wind (Pic Heavy) Post by: Darth Acervus on September 29, 2016, 11:23:37 AM Please let me know how many sabers you have total?
Not including what I assume must be saber hop sticks or some such :P I think I see one hiding under the glass moditor stand! It appeals to my sithly sense of order lol. Lovely saber the more I look at it the gold accents make it very distinctive. Title: Re: Electrum Wind (Pic Heavy) Post by: JediApprenticeChris37 on September 29, 2016, 12:29:23 PM Hey guys! This is an awesome hilt for sure. Your whole collection is quite impressive.
Any chance you could do a side by side comparison pic with your Graflex there please ? . . . cheers I was going to ask for the same. Point for beating me to it. ;D Title: Re: Electrum Wind (Pic Heavy) Post by: hazard502 on September 29, 2016, 02:37:55 PM I love the yellow lit AV switch you chose it looks so nice with the gold. The spiked ring fits the look really nicely and adds that individual touch as well. Congrats on your new EW and what an awesome collection! Point!
