as for the blade plugs....i just wish they didnt stick out so much from the emitter.

Ive got to say, your video makes the yellow illuminated silver button a great choice for the EW saber

Those two screws in the grip section hold the grip section in place.  The rich detail on the hilt is a bunch of shroud pieces.  If you want to see the saber taken apart (and not risk voiding your warranty by taking yours apart) James Casey posted pics:
