Title: Project: Havoc Post by: shade_1313 on November 02, 2016, 03:48:35 AM My next project, which closes out my (delayed) summer saber builds, is Project: Havoc.
I'll let this speak for itself, other than to say it's V4 sound, and has QDs. (http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k83/shade_1313/IMG_0547_zpswe2dplol.jpg) (http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k83/shade_1313/IMG_0548_zpse3hjctoi.jpg) (http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k83/shade_1313/IMG_0550_zpsp1hz7jc8.jpg) At this point, I'm not sure what I'll turn my mix'n'match eye towards next, but rest assured, I can't leave things undone when the flash of MHS inspiration strikes. Title: Re: Project: Havoc Post by: Zren Tobas on November 02, 2016, 05:52:49 AM Very sick. But nah. Change it to Blazing Red, Pyrestone Orange if you have it, or Violet Amethyst :P More Sith looking saber staff to me if anything

Change it to Blazing Red, Pyrestone Orange if you have it, or Violet Amethyst :P More Sith looking saber staff to me if anything I have that option. QDs, as I said. Well, I have that option once I pick up some more MLS units. I'm just thrilled, right now, that I'm getting faster at the wiring, and that, so far, my DIY projects have worked and fired up properly. Title: Re: Project: Havoc Post by: Corwyn VonBeck on November 02, 2016, 03:59:33 PM Now THAT is what I call a nice staff! Wonderful!
(hrmmm... thought... a black & silver vented coupler would match nicely with those emitters I think. could even give yourself a crystal chamber there) Title: Re: Project: Havoc Post by: Hansrad on November 02, 2016, 07:36:20 PM BEST STAFF EVER! That is super amazing and sleek looking.
Title: Re: Project: Havoc Post by: Darth Calon on November 03, 2016, 05:17:56 AM Wow! That is amazing! :o Points for sure.

That looks spectacular! I really like the contrast of the design. Great blade colour too. :) +1 Title: Re: Project: Havoc Post by: Wobbywoo on November 03, 2016, 03:03:06 PM Now THAT is what I call a nice staff! Wonderful! I totally agree with this. It's sleek, it's glitzy, it's simply amazing.(hrmmm... thought... a black & silver vented coupler would match nicely with those emitters I think. could even give yourself a crystal chamber there) As for the crystal chamber idea, perhaps you could use the other LEDs from the emitters in the centre to create a glowing chamber? In fact, if you give it blades of different colours, you could play around with the QDs so you've got a kind of colour-merge in the middle (eg. 1 blue blade, 1 red blade, an LED of each colour in the middle to create a purpley shade). I hope to see more of your work, this is phenomenal! Title: Re: Project: Havoc Post by: Master Medwyn on November 03, 2016, 08:53:44 PM I love the "dragonspine"-look of it! Also the posion-colour looks great!

Title: Re: Project: Havoc Post by: shade_1313 on November 14, 2016, 03:45:23 PM Wow, it looks awesome. What is the total length, it looks really long? Point to you 25" hilt(s), 85.5" blade tip to blade tip, so just a bit over 7 feet. That's with 32" blades. However, I concur with others that this should be in BR or PO. Have a point! |
