Title: Power on is quieter than hum? (OB v4) Post by: noah on December 06, 2016, 08:05:03 PM Hello everyone,
(sorry if this is the wrong section, it's a question pertaining to soundfonts so I figured I'd post it here.) I am in the process of making a custom soundfont using a number of different sources. My issue is that when the Obsidian V4 plays the power on sound and then switches to the hum, the hum becomes louder than the hum in the power on track. Is there perhaps a configuration I am missing? Any help would be appreciated :D EDIT: I can also record a quick clip of it actually happening on the saber if that would be of any help. Happens right at about 3.5 seconds into the clip. Much more noticeable IRL but it is easy to hear in the clip too. Title: Re: Power on is quieter than hum? (OB v4) Post by: lovetadraw on December 06, 2016, 10:09:19 PM On the Obs' Sith and Ninja Jesus RotJ fonts I had to turn down the hum, then it was fine at about 70% volume. I don't like a super loud hum anyway.

(OB v4) Post by: Zalbaag on April 20, 2017, 05:12:02 AM Sorry for resurrecting an older post, but I have been having this issue with most fonts that I work with in Audacity. I've always just turned the hum volume down in the ultrasabers launcher, but I have been unable to successfully do that in the diamond controller section of the launcher.
I figured if I just turned the volume down in audacity it would fix the problem, but no matter how quiet I make it in audacity it still gets amplified once it's in the saber (even sounds quieter when listening in the launcher, but always loud again once on the saber). There seems to be a volume bar in the effect editor for diamond, but it also doesn't seem to do anything once the sound is on the saber. Any help would be appreciated. TIA |
