Yeah I'm really pleased with it - problem is now is finding somebody to duel with!

I've actually adapted the Sith font, combining it with Count Dooku's and Darth Bane's Vader font. They sound awesome - especially with the snap-hiss of the blade coming on.

Fab purchase. My other half was thinking of getting Luke's equivalent. Any other recommendations? I quite like the Bellicose.

The Bellicose is really nice, but want iconic?  Graflex.

Yeah I did look at that, but for some reason I'm not a fan of it. Still, if I'm building a collection, should probably have that one as it is - as you say - iconic!

as far as dueling goes...check the sparring map. can always check fb for groups.

You have embarked on a dangerous hobby here, its nice to see that you are already looking for more sabers, its shows us that you may stick around for a while.  The Chosen one is one of the most iconic sabres around and you made a great choice. 

If you have questions feel free to ask and we will point you in the right direction for answers, however please try to use the search function first (photo with magnifying glass icon) as another member may have already asked the same question and received an answer.

All of the members here are very helpful and have no issues helping each other out.

I got a Dark Catalyst and got it shipped with Guardian blue however i got it with an emerald driver so i can change it to whatever color  8). I'll have a review of it soon (shipped it back for some rewiring on my illuminated switch to direct drive so i can give it a clear white too...was my bad apparently in my excitement i didn't double check my order...) but i'm already wanting more haha. thinking of a guardian or archon to go with an obi-wan costume i'm doing for SW celebration.

Welcome to the forums and Ultra Sabers, Ben! You've taken your first step into a larger world, so glad you're here and sharing your first purchase with us all. What an excellent choice on a first saber. We were all once in your shoes, buying our first saber, and it feels like "why didn't I know about this sooner!?"  ;D  like KDP mentioned, it's great fun to hear you talk about what saber you're going to buy next, so on that note, from the ones I currently own, my top four that I would recommend that you consider next are the Bellicose, the Manticore, the Consular (can be Jedi or Sith when you remove the shroud) and the Dark Prophecy.

The forums search function that KDP mentioned is a great tool. I also find that using Google to search is pretty efficient, using the following format in Google to search:

search word(s) site:www.saberforum.com

where "search word(s)" are replaced by the words or phrase you're looking for. The example below returns results for the Ultra Sabers Winter 2017 raffle:

We like pictures here, too, and the easiest way is to get a free account at www.photobucket.com (http://www.photobucket.com), upload your pictures there and then click on the picture you've uploaded to get links on the right that are copied to your clipboard by clicking on them and then paste them here. The required (http://) tags will automatically be included.  For videos upload them to YouTube and then copy and paste the link ending in ".com" not ".be" here and use "http://" not "https://" to paste the link, and it will automatically embed right into your post.

Here's a tutorial for posting pictures that forum member "eerockk" put together back in 2013:

(Short Version)

To post photos on the site, the first thing you'll need to do is to sign up to a picture hosting site. This example will use Photobucket, but there are others and the process is the same. The image button here on the site (in the message editor when posting) just sets up a spot to paste a copied link (URL) from another site where you uploaded your photos. To start:

1. Head to Photobucket and open a profile. You can create an album or just upload to the root of your profile.

2. Upload any images you like to the site using the upload link.

3. Once the files are uploaded, you will see a list of links under (or overlapping) the bottom of each of your photos.

4. Copy the bottom IMG link and paste in your posts. Done! No need to modify the link you post. Hit preview to see if it worked before hitting post!

5. For your profile pic, the blue link that I've circled is the one you can copy and paste to make your profile image. If you go to the profile edit section and paste that link (the direct link without the img tags), you can make one of your photos your forum profile pic.

Hi Ben, you're a step ahead of me. I am just placing my first order for the graflex.
Just wanted to comment that I have been lurking around for a while noticed not a whole lot of people have the bellicose.
When I first looked it really grabber my eye.
For me I will get the cannon trinity (graflex/archon/chosen one) then have a look at the bellicose so if you get it let us know how you find it.
