Title: Finally Have Time to Share My New Sabers With Everybody Post by: briney212 on January 28, 2017, 01:01:40 AM Hello everyone, so I ordered my first US a couple weeks ago, and then a grab bag shortly after that, but I've been crazy busy lately so I haven't had time to share with you all. So here we go...
Archon v2.1, Emerald driver, Obsidian v4 board, Mid grade blade. (http://i.imgur.com/cXFe5Inl.jpg) Ignited (http://i.imgur.com/u9Mb9zQl.jpg) W/ Catalyst pommel and vented coupler serving as a crystal chamber (http://i.imgur.com/4jdka3Gl.jpg) Crystal Chamber and original pommel ignited (http://i.imgur.com/4D666mul.jpg) The way I currently have it set up, and intend to keep for a while, Catalyst pommel and War Glaive emitter without claws (http://i.imgur.com/hfcnKQal.jpg?1) And ignited (http://i.imgur.com/1j28t1nl.jpg) Grab bag was a Dark Sentinel LE v4, Ultraedge Mid grade, Consular Green (http://i.imgur.com/tnB86Xyl.jpg) Both together (http://i.imgur.com/P0VvnZ8l.jpg) And, finally my whole collection, with my dog hating them (http://i.imgur.com/SZC4FWOl.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/YcVnb5Tl.jpg) Sorry for such a big post, I'm just so excited to share everything with you all! Been wanting an Ultra Saber for a while now and I couldn't be happier with my purchases. I absolutely love my Archon, the Emerald driver is amazing, as is the v4 soundboard. Super excited I got a Dark Sentinel, and I love the silver accents on the LE version, the green blade looks amazing. Overall I am so stoked I finally pulled the trigger on these things! I may have to get one and try that. Sweet looking collection too.

I may have to get one and try that. Sweet looking collection too. I absolutely love the look of it, but as far as gripping it, it's pretty impractical. I think one of the other style vented couplers would work better, they look like they are more similar in shape to the neck that comes on the Archon. I ordered this one because I thought the vents would look cooler than the other. So it's kind of a decision between pure looks and actual practicality. If you want a vented chamber but still want a nice grip near the emitter, I'd say go with the other model, if you just want looks, this one should do. I think this one looks awesome. I'm like you I tend to go for the look. I would probably just grab just under it. I love the crystal chamber idea the best.
I can't quite make it out with that gorgeous light. Is it the light or dark coupler? I've messed around with the color a lot, but it always seems to make it's way back to some shade of violet. Thank you! I absolutely love how my Archon looks now. It and the Catalyst were my final choices, I ended up going with the Archon because it is able to be customized in so many ways. And also with the Catalyst Pommel and War Glaive emitter, it looks and feels pretty similar to what I imagine the Catalyst feels like. The only thing I'm considering doing is getting a Dremel and another War Glaive emitter as a test subject and go crazy on it. In my head I see something like the prongs of the Catalyst emitter, but more pointed.
