Title: Custom DDC Defender Blaster Post by: richmbailey on April 06, 2017, 01:03:44 PM Base model is a DDC Defender (Used by Leia and ANH). Then heavily modified, as Merc would of course, to make it more than just a sport targeting pistol.
Below is the mock parts added, and two coats of gray primer. I'll add some more putty in some of the seems and sand and coat again. Then onto the real painting. I'll upload more photos as I proceed. All you have to do is buy a Rubies Leia blaster on Amazon for like $10. Then add your own parts using your plastic epoxy of choice. Some filler putty, sanding, Krylon and Testers paints. I like the original blaster too, but I wanted one that a Merc got a hold of and modified. Gotta love how SW's uses scopes on blasters. This one was an add-on scope for a Nerf gun...got it for $8 on eBay. Oversize! Yeah, I need to add a couple of scopes to mine. Nerf gun ones look too big though, might get a friend to print a couple for me. Metallic Steel, Metallic Bronze, and washes of Acrylic Black/Burnt Sienna in the cracks.
