Title: Quick and easy mod on a pair of GB Sentinels Post by: Therion Jinn on May 31, 2017, 12:54:12 AM Saw this done by someone else first, but I have a couple of Grab Bag Sentinels that I picked up.
Looking at the pair, one is an LE, and the other is a standard, as far as looks go. Now, despite the fact they have contrasting color blades, I decided to go in and make them look more like a set. This was done with the intention of making a saberstaff out of the pair down the road here. All I did, following what I'd seen some other here do, was put some o-rings in the grooves of the hilts. The end result is what I think looks like a much more 'coordinated' looking set (http://i432.photobucket.com/albums/qq45/quaralane/Mobile%20Uploads/20170530_184219.jpeg) (http://i432.photobucket.com/albums/qq45/quaralane/Mobile%20Uploads/20170530_184209.jpeg) Title: Re: Quick and easy mod on a pair of GB Sentinels Post by: Huer-Ta on May 31, 2017, 03:03:50 PM They look great! Definitely makes them more of a matching set. I really love the look of the rings around the emitter.

Took things a step further tonight after some MHS parts arrived. This, Sith and Jedi, is a Sentinel saberstaff unlit (http://i432.photobucket.com/albums/qq45/quaralane/Mobile%20Uploads/20170531_201932.jpg) lit (http://i432.photobucket.com/albums/qq45/quaralane/Mobile%20Uploads/20170531_201942.jpeg) |
