I recently did the $200 mystery box and got a second one (lol). I am going to prob dremel that holder as well soon, but try to be a little less messy. I got better with the cuts as I did more so I hope to do a better job on the second one. I showed this idea to Marlena and suggested it being the SS option for the holder. She said they are working on two major new builds, but will look into it after.

You really went for the gusto with those 8 windows and not being so exact gives the saber character. I would have been quite hesitant so good job ! :)

Fantastic work on these two awesome hilts. I love the second version but I have to say the blazing red shining through on your first attempt reminds me of the elevator shaft lights (either side of the elevator door) in Palpatine's throne room in ROTJ! point for an awesome job! I can't find anyone that has done that with one yet.
