Hey ultrasaberites. I, Darth Vigorous, have thought up a way to reconfigure a Manticore holy to work as a full 360 degree spinning Inquisitior lightsaber!

Where is the emitter?

Everytime I do, it makes me laugh!

Point. There is no emitter and the saw blades are u-shaped, so they cover any would be opening for the saber blades.

I will hold my tongue on the other design flaws of this hilt and those like it.

Be a challenging project.
For me, though, I always saw that spinning gimmick as a way to compensate for their total lack of actual skill

Realistically it looks super awkward, I feel like you're more likely to hit yourself unless you just hold it perfectly still (which obviously isn't very combat effective).

And leaves you open to the same attack that Kanan used on the Grand Inquisitor.

I know that, But I was tired of never seeing someone actually attempt to make a REALISTIC one, So I decided to go for it myself.

Go for it bro! Would love to see a well executed version of this. Even if you don't use it for combat, still would be an awesome thing to play around with

Just because they added a blade to the image doesn't mean anything. I can add wings to a picture of a horse and call it a Pegasus.

I'm just razzin' ya. Regardless of my disappointment with the show's tech shortcomings, if you can actually pull off the prop build, that would be a true achievement. Good luck.

I recommend two independent power supplies. One to drive the proposed motor system and sound boards, housed in the grip. The other housed inside the ring to power the LEDs. This way there would be no wires getting in the way of the spinning movement. Now if you can work in a locking mechanism to align the blades with handle, when the spin motors aren't running, that would be something.

I'd love to see if it turns out. Keep us posted.
