Title: Opinions of Bellicose alteration
Post by: Darth Gekido on November 20, 2011, 05:45:46 PM
Okay, had a minor issue with the accessory button (lesson to new Bellicose owners: fiddle with the button too much and you can strip the threads :() so I thought I would personalize it thusly. Opinions, please?(http://i1181.photobucket.com/albums/x426/Gekido327/IMG_0864.jpg)

That is a bummer for sure.

While the sticker may not be my favorite, if it's comfortable for you, do it. ;D

That's no sticker, it's an Old World of Darkness Nosferatu clan pin. :p

Stripping the threads is an easy fix, just go up to the next larger diameter bolt (10-32), the same length, tap the hole to 10-32, and voilą.

That's good news. Thanks, Ultra! Good thing there's a hardware store right across from where I work. Checking that out tomorrow morning.

I got a 8/32nd drill and tap set and the tap holder for around $10.00 at Lowe's.  I figure the next size up will probably be around the same price.
