Title: Using Soundfonts on a Diamond Saber
Post by: superspartan117 on August 24, 2018, 05:42:21 PM
Hi, I recently got a dominex le v4 with a diamond controller. This is my first diamond, and I wanted to put more soundfonts on it. Is there any quick way to use "normal" Soundfonts on the Diamond? or is it a long process? Any help would be appreciated!

You could also try this method if you need to convert sound files.

It worked great for me.  As for building Diamond fonts, the express launcher is your friend.  I've had great success by using the express launcher to create a basic "shell" font in the color combo I want and then going into the full editor to change the sounds and/or modify the light effects.  It can seem daunting at first, but it's really not that difficult once you tinker with it a little bit.  My main advice is to save often so that if you try something and hose it up (like I do sometimes) you can get back to a known good configuration.  Have fun, hours of enjoyment await you with your Diamond saber!

Glad to see my tutorial is getting some use!

This is exactly how I do it haha
