Due to some need to destroy something, I decided to try to remove the tip that took multiple attempts using a press and pulling on it before it popped off [so no easily done] and then cause why not before I threw it away I smacked it with a hammer several times, and nothing. So that is some high quality strength for you.

Wow... going from concerns about not receiving a saber to destroying an expensive HG blade... LOL.

Hope you have extra blades... would suggest getting some of the grab bag blades for your umm... experiments.

Do make a video next time so that the moment can be relived and enjoyed by the membership.  ;)

In the future please use the random thoughts or venting established threads instead of making a separate thread.  Also there is a large thread discussing blades that your comment and findings would best be suited in.  Thank you.  :)

Dude, a hammer though? That's hilarious! I'm guessing you have a backup stash of blades already or are fine with the cost of buying them otherwise you probably wouldn't have attempted such wreckage. Either way, definitely film it next time. I'm sure US although it's somewhat of a destruction of their product would be happy there's something out there  to show durability of their blades to those who even question it.

I'm also guessing you received your saber?

Yeah it was a spare blade with some filling issues, and if such a moment arises again I will try to remember to film it.
