Title: Has anyone tried making a Darth Vader font? Post by: lexonio on November 30, 2011, 06:43:35 PM I've been relentlessly seeking one, but no result as of yet. Has anyone had success getting it? Perhaps even using the sound files present on MR boards.

Post by: Manroon on November 30, 2011, 08:43:31 PM Well, I don't know of one out there myself, but I do remember hearing that several files in various fonts are vader sounds. I think one of Nova's Ep V fonts had the Vader hum in it, as well as several of his clashes and lockups. I believe the Ep IV font also was heavy on Vader sounds, if memory serves it has a particularly darker ignition to it. You might try tracking down some individual files and mixing a font yourself if you can't find a complete one. Hope that helps!

Post by: Manroon on November 30, 2011, 08:48:46 PM Yeah, if you can get Nova's Ep IV and V fonts (the normal ones, not 'Ice Assault' or 'Training Bot' anything like that but just plain Ep V and Ep IV) I'm pretty sure they've got most of what you're looking for, or a close approximation. I THINK he blended the hums from Obi and Vader for the IV, but it still sounds pretty Vader to me. *shrug* :)
