It's my favorite Christmas movie. I never saw why there was any debate. The entire movie takes place on Christmas Eve. He's in California to go to a Christmas party and spend the holiday with his family. The fact that it's Christmas is mentioned about 50 times in the film. Hell, it's more of a Christmas film than It's a Wonderful Life, where only the end of the film takes place on Christmas. (yes, I know there were some other Christmases along the way)

People has different views and that’s fine but it’s mainly them from wanting to argue for the sake of it in my opinion

Realistically, I don't care what other people think. It's a Christmas movie to me, that's all that matters to me. I have a annual tradition of watching Die Hard and Die Hard 2 around Christmas.
