Title: Finally..The Bellicose, PYRESTONE ORANGE Post by: Goldleader on December 31, 2011, 10:37:23 PM ok well this is the "I owe you review" of my bellicose i spoke of a month ago just about, and since christmas i think it is the one thing i have paid most attention to and still cant put it down! saber fever ;D
The looks: cosmetic features of this saber exceed any of its ultrasaber predecessors i currently own, the av switch meshes right in and when activated give the saber a new definition of WOW that this saber gives you. the long groove pommel is very nice! very smooth, just adds that top to bottom realism of the saber the red button near the emitter is a good accent, i dont regret getting it in a metalic color, i also think that along with the PO, it makes the saber look like the piece of art it really is. Blade color: the color is orange, no doubt, as i said, it is orange. on a scale of one-bright, i have to say it is impressive! my double bladed saber is red, and it lights up a dark room, with two of blades, twice the brightness, but the orange when i compared it, EQUALS this! it is a very astounding color! The sound: oh yes now comes the obsidian! it really makes it feel like YOUR lightsaber when you can change the color(i did get quick dis.) and make your own sound combination! the obsidian is great! it fit perfectly into the base of the saber, i am veryy careful upon battery switches and sound uploading still just to be safe, and put some of the bubble wrap in the nook of the battery pack so it is completely safe. it sounds..INCREDIBLE! i was up till 4 after christmas playing with the sound fonts and i mixed them all up and came out with a very dark very deep sounding saber! a mix of starkiller and sith and old republic clashes idle and lockups eventually satisfied me<3 plenty loud! the pommel resonance is superb! and depending on what font you like, it may be louder or softer, but barely noticeable, all the same, much better then MR Fx's i had trouble deciding archon or bellicose furthur back, but if i could go visit myself in the past, id slap myself in the face and say "BELLICOSE FOO!" honestly if you got this saber and you dont fall in love at first sight (unless there is a major justifiable issue) then i recommend you admission to your closest asylum for mental evaluation and a nice dark cushy cell. 11/10, i recommend it to anyone who is considering its purchase! now i appologize for the lamest video of me and the saber, the pictures i took are far more detailed, but it was more for the purpose for you to see the heft of the saber, and hear the obsidian, i hope you enjoyed this review, once again kudos to ultrasabers! they never fail to amaze and please the needs of me as their customer! and if there are any questions, please ask! and i shall answer! v this is a link to the video btw, just click (http://i797.photobucket.com/albums/yy253/lemon095/th_606.jpg) (http://s797.photobucket.com/albums/yy253/lemon095/?action=view¤t=606.mp4) the true pyrestone orange is.. orange! It so hard to describe it without saying how much more red it is than the FO, because whoever it is gets hung up on the red part. It's bright Orange and I love the color. Great review.
