Title: Opinions Please: Hot Pink or Bane's Heart FoC? Post by: stuxnet on June 07, 2020, 03:26:27 AM I'm intending on picking up either a Spectre or Dark Dorinian with Violet Amethyst and either Hot Pink or Bane's Heart as the FoC, but I've never seen either one of them in person. Can any of you kind folks who have experience with these colors offer their opinions between the two? What would go batter with VA?

All 4 colors are basically purple using varying strengths of Blue and Red diodes. Regular VA has the blue & red at close to the same strength, but with BVA, the red is dialed down. Hot Pink and Bane's heart are the opposite where the Red is full strength and the blue is dialed way down. So if you want the most contrast between your colors, I'd recommend BVA with a BH FoC. But if you're set on regular VA, I personally think Silver is a better FoC because its also got a bit of green in it (white light is red/blue/green together) and therefore will stand out more than either BH or HP. But my buddy down the street has an Electrum Wind in Violet Amethyst with Hot Pink FoC and it looks AMAZING. I LOVE IT. My third Spring Giveaway order included an Emporer's Hand in Violet Amethyst with Hot Pink Foc. Can't wait!!! |
