Title: Birthday Mystery Box using (Loyalty Points) Post by: TR-77477 on July 15, 2020, 05:57:20 PM Soooo I was approved for another trip around the sun last Sunday and to celebrate I used some of my loyalty points to get a Mystery Box. I haven't got a MB since I decided to just get the hilt I wanted at that moment. I have not been paying attention to MB pulls lately and I am hoping for a nicer hilt. I will post a picture when it arrives. I am in no rush for it to arrive, I know US will always send me a quality product.

I realized this morning that it was destined to arrive today. I go to Dragon Con each year and make a point to stop by US and get a couple MB's to give away to some kids around their booth. I should be there right now, but Dragon con was cancelled. I guess it's fate.

It’s an aeon V3 with AV switch in Sunrider‘s Destiny. Unfortunately FedEx bent the blade badly but I have an extra one to use. I see some potential in this hilt.

Not sure if anyone else has noticed, but the FedEx and UPS crews are a disgruntled bunch lately. The COVID effects have saturated their delivery routes with perpetual holiday volume. Their dispositions reflects this. I look at this bent blade and can't help but think it's one of those "Take THAT, company!" type of things - and yeah, it happens - e.g. airline baggage handlers have a bad reputation for a reason. |
