Title: New Ultrasaber Isn't Turning On Post by: mariaadina on August 02, 2020, 09:11:11 PM Hi all! I am new to this, Ultrasabers and forum! I was wondering if any of you could help. I have recently purchased a saber, a V5 with Diamond Controller but it wouldn't turn on at all. I have charged the batteries to their fullest and it still isn't working. What do you suggest I should do? Should I replace the batteries?

Does one of the batteries show a green light right after you put it in the charger (make sure it's a Li-Ion battery charger, not a Ni-CD/Ni-MH charger) where the other shows a red one? -> That's a dead cell. Replace it with a cell of the same brand and type. Don't replace it with AA batteries or inferior Li-Ions (mostly those with a mAh rating greater than 900 mAh). If both are negative, it could be the switch. Switches are almost always replaced when they're malfunctioning. Title: Re: New Ultrasaber Isn't Turning On Post by: MVHI JEDI on August 10, 2020, 04:26:55 PM Make sure both of your batteries are fully seated, and make sure they aren't popping back out of place once you seat them. Sometimes they tend to pop out JUUUUST enough to not connect. If that happens, tightly wrap a piece of electrical tape around the batteries.
Also take a flashlight and look inside for loose/damaged wires. |
