Title: Help on double bladed lengths- Post by: Darksonic on August 21, 2020, 04:47:08 PM im looking into getting a Phantasm V4 custom saber. i have a bad feeling that the standard blades will make the saber exteremly long. after i roughly did the measurements for the hilt and blades it came up to 7 foot- and im 6 foot/ i just want to know if i shouldnt be to worried bout the length. i have praticed with 5-6 foot bo-staff for a few years- and i have also used various "cheap" double bladed sabers. so im not new to using one.
Title: Re: Help on double bladed lengths- Post by: firehand10k on August 21, 2020, 08:20:50 PM You can always learn to use the extra length with some practice or cut the blades down to your preferred sizes. It is easy to cut them down so maybe try longer to see how you like it.
Title: Re: Help on double bladed lengths- Post by: Gryphawoo on August 21, 2020, 11:03:27 PM I ordered a saber that'll be the same length. unfortunately it's not shipped yet but I've been practicing with a bar that's about 8 feet and it's not hard to get used to, so 7 should be easy. I'm about 5'9 for comparison. Plus you can always cut the blades down with a tutorial in the customization section so I'd recommend getting the longer length.
