Title: Computer won't detect ultrasaber Post by: kingferda11 on December 24, 2020, 04:53:26 AM I have been trying to connect my new Graflex CE with Diamond Controller to my computer and it doesn't seem to detect it at all, I have tried it on different computers with different micro USBs and still nothing. I am starting to think it might be the saber itself. Does anyone have this problem/had this problem and know any other fixes I could try?

I have also tried to use the software http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/usb_devices_view.html (http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/usb_devices_view.html) and even that could not detect anything. It seems that when I plug it in and turn it on it detects no trace of the saber anywhere at all. I am using the USB that was given with the battery charger if that makes a difference.

Your cable must be data transfer capable. Your battery charger cable will not work. Try a phone or tablet cable. They are usually power and data capable. On your computer, make sure your "plug ins" are up to date. That is where you should start. Data cable, and computer updates. I hope that helps a little. Not sure why, but it usually solves the issue.

The light in the saber is flickering now though and slowly shuts off and fades into a red, I'm assuming this is just a sign I need to recharge my batteries and it should work perfectly fine!

Yeah, get a full charge on them, then have fun! Doesn't cause an inconvenience and I haven't seen it cause problems but its annoying at times. Any clue how to fix it or why it happens?
