Title: Have a hilt, now what? Post by: Gracetexana on December 18, 2022, 08:30:22 AM Last year for my husband's birthday, I got him a dark mantis hilt (wanted to break up the cost). Now i want to get the rest of the parts he needs for a finished saber, but I'm not sure which parts i need? Obviously i need a blade, and i want it to be red (i think the color is a different part?). I know not all the blades work with each hilt. He is technically minded so i am hopeful that he should be able to assemble the lightsaber once he has all the parts. I need help to pick which parts i need for the simplest setup. Maybe we could do a few extra frills depending on the cost. I do have a picture of my previous order but I'm not sure I can post it here.

Post by: firehand10k on January 09, 2023, 07:05:49 PM Then you'll need an LED housing, the Red or deep red LED, wires , a latching switch, a battery holder, battery and resistor. I have a Mantis so I can say the US LED holder without the lip is the one that fits. There are many options for the switch and for the battery setup.

Post by: firehand10k on January 11, 2023, 11:08:19 PM A full hilt consists of the body the blade holder or emitter the pommel and in the case of the Mantis the curved elbow and a collar. The body of the Mantis is shrouded so there's that and the pommel is three pieces but comes as one unit.even empty that is a complete hilt.
