Title: Lightsaber Chassis Tool
Post by: ChissNamedChris on November 21, 2023, 10:03:04 PM
Hello Hello Everyone.
When I puchased my Ultrasaber I was gettin the rundown aobut it and the tech mentioned avoiding pressing the speaker.
I made a quick comment about 3D printing something and finally decided to act on.

I hope this is helpful to someone :)
It's a simple design that just sits around the speaker and you can just push with the palm of your hand without worry.
I've used mine a few times on my Apprentice V5 and Emperors Hand and so far so Very Good.

Hi ChissNamedChris,

Sorry I'm late commenting but I wanted to let other members comment first but they haven't yet. We're trying to stimulate activity to revive the forum but its a long job.

HOWEVER! I gotta say this chassis tool is a work of genius! I'm surprised someone hadn't come up with a similar device before now. It falls into the category of an "I never knew I needed one of those till I did" item. Something so simple but perfect for the job.

A Force Alignment point of appreciation on it's way to you for sharing. The points system is a bit of forum fun we have where we reward members points for cool, interesting posts, shares and comments - and you can either collect Light or Dark points though they don't count for anything except prestige. Let me know if you want a Light or Darksider point ok!

I gots no 3d printer, but I cut the bottom off an aluminum can and punched holes. The mild curve prevents the middle of the speaker making contact. Yours is purtier.
